Many thanks to KUSI News who invited OB Surf & Skate and OB Elementary to appear on their show this morning to promote our 2ndAnnual Skate for the Kids fundraiser. Alexis DelChiaro interviewed Caleb Martin and Joel Aldous of OBSS, and Celeste Abbott, a member of OB Elementary’s PTA, who shared details of the event which is happening this Saturday from 11am to 3pm at Robb Field Skate Park. The Second Annual Skate for the Kids fundraiser has been rescheduled for this Saturday, January 28, 2012! Although we were rained out last weekend, this Saturday's forecast calls for sunshine and warm temperatures, so it's bound to be an amazing day for our pro meet and greet, BBQ and raffle. Join Ocean Beach Surf & Skate and Ocean Beach Elementary at Robb Field from 11:00am to 3:00pm for some sweet skating, delicious food and fantastic raffle prizes. Remember, all proceeds are going to OB Elementary so this is a phenomenal opportunity to have fun and give back to the community.
